Youth Activity Registration – Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

Can Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs administer epinephrine injector medication?

A:

Youth Clubs on Disney Cruise Line ships can administer injector medication to minors under 18 years of age as long as the following conditions are met:

  • A parent, legal guardian or responsible adult must complete and sign the epinephrine injector medication authorization form prior to sailing or on board at any Youth Activities venue.
  • A parent, legal guardian or responsible adult must provide the epinephrine injector medication on the ship.
  • The epinephrine injector must be in the original container with an expiration date and labeled with the child's name, instructions for use and the name of the child's physician.
  • If the epinephrine injector is not in the original container, a hard copy of the prescription with the child's name, instructions for use and the name of the child's physician can be accepted as a replacement.
  • The epinephrine injector medication must be kept at the youth activities front desk or kept on themselves.

Please note: these same conditions must be met for children who can self-administer.
