Guests with Disabilities – Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

Are you able to accommodate my dietary requests and/or food allergies?

A:

Disney Cruise Line offers gluten-free, vegetarian, no-sugar-added, dairy-free and lighter-note offerings on our table-service restaurant menus.

There are a variety of services and accommodations available for our Guests traveling with dietary needs. In order to notate these requirements on your reservation, please visit My Reservations and utilize the form which better fits your needs.
  • Special Requests allows you to specify lifestyle or cultural dietary requests, such as a request for halal or kosher meals.
  • Special Services allows you to indicate specific dietary restrictions which may be severe or life-threatening. These include peanuts, sugar, protein, egg, fish, gluten/wheat, peanut/tree nuts, shellfish and soy.
Guests may submit their requests up to 3 days prior to embarkation. However, if you do require either kosher or halal meals, we do ask that your request be submitted at least 5 weeks prior to your sail date.

Please note: Kosher for Passover meal requests must be submitted 10 weeks in advance in order to be accommodated.

Dietary requests notated on your reservation will not be automatically applied at our quick-service meal locations or through in-room dining. Once on board the ship, please be sure to:
  • Visit the Onboard Dining Session offered on embarkation day.
  • Notify the dining team while ordering at any of our dining venues, even if you previously indicated it during the reservation process.
Keep in mind, while our quick-service meal locations and in-room dining take reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to meet all requests. We welcome you to dine at our Main Dining and adult-exclusive locations—which offer more resources to help guide you toward an appropriate meal.

We strive to use reasonable efforts in our food sourcing, preparation and handling procedures to avoid the introduction of the named allergens into your menu choices. While we take steps to prevent cross-contact, we do not have separate allergy-friendly kitchens and are unable to guarantee that a menu item is completely free of allergens.

Please also note that our allergy-friendly offerings are reliant on supplier ingredient labels, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the contents of each food item. Allergen advisory statements (e.g., "may contain") are not regulated and therefore not taken into consideration when developing allergy-friendly meals. It is ultimately up to Guests’ discretion to make an informed choice based upon their individual dietary needs.
