What is the form titled “Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian,” and is it required for all children?

The Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form authorizes an adult (age 18 and older) other than the parent or legal guardian to retain care, custody and control of a child during the span of a Disney cruise vacation. What do I need to know about the Payment Authorization Form?

The Payment Authorization Form under My Online Check-in lets you set up a convenient onboard "Key to the World" account. It’s an easy way to manage how you and your travel party will charge incidental expenses to your stateroom folio.Submit This Form Online Just provide your credit card information and list which Guests are authorized to charge items to your account. Then get ready to enjoy a carefree cruise.This form must be submitted, along with the Guest Information Form, before you can access the Disney Cruise Line Cruise Contract and, subsequently, the Online Check-In Port Arrival Form.If you do not submit these forms online at least 48 hours prior to boarding, you will need to complete them—and the forms you would access subsequently—at the port terminal.

What is a REAL ID and do I need it for my Disney cruise?

While you do not need a REAL ID to board the ship, beginning May 7, 2025, the US Department of Homeland Security will require every resident of a US state or territory who is 18 years of age and older to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification (such as a passport or enhanced driver’s license) to go through airport security and board a flight within the United States. If you or a member of your family will be flying to one of our cruise homeports within the United States on or after May 7, 2025, please ensure you have an acceptable document for your air travel. REAL IDs are marked by a star on the top of the card. For more information, please visit the Transportation Security Administration. Please keep in mind that all Guests must still have Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative-compliant travel documents (proof of citizenship and/or appropriate visas) in order to cruise.

What documents will be required when I check in for my cruise?

At check-in, all Guests must present valid passports or other acceptable proof of citizenship. All travelers are required to have a valid passport to enter or re-enter the United States by air.In addition to a valid passport, many countries require an entry visa based on your nationality. It is each Guest's responsibility to identify and to obtain all the necessary visas before embarking on the cruise. Because requirements may vary, Guests are advised to contact their local consulate or embassy for more information on required travel documentation for all ports of call during the cruise.The Guest who booked the cruise must present a copy of the Online Check-In Port Arrival Form at check-in. You can save time during the boarding process by completing this document ahead of time through My Online Check-in.When a minor (age 17 and under) travels without a parent or legal guardian, an accompanying adult must present an Authorization For Minor To Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian Form, completed and signed by that child's parent or legal guardian.Passport & Travel Documentation GuidelinesUnder My Reservations you'll find important travel guidelines and regulations relevant to your individual itinerary. What personal documents—including proof of citizenship—do I need to bring?

In order to board the ship at the start of a cruise, all Guests must provide a valid government-issued photo ID. For certain international itineraries, you will also need to present a valid passport and travel visa.Passports If needed for your itinerary, Disney Cruise Line requests that you provide your passport number at least 30 to 40 days prior to the start of your vacation. Simply add the details to the Guest Information Form found in My Online Check-In.Please note: All travelers, including U.S. Citizens and all foreign nationals, are required to have a valid passport to enter or re-enter the United States by air.Other Travel Documents When you arrive at the port terminal, additional documents are required to start your cruise. Save time by using My Online Check-In to complete these documents in advance.
