DisneyBand+ & More – Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

How do I charge my DisneyBand+?

A:

DisneyBand+ has a rechargeable battery and a 6-inch USB charging cable that comes with the purchase of the product. A charging cable can also be purchased separately online or at select onboard retail locations. Lightning® connectors are also available for purchase on board. We recommend charging your DisneyBand+ to High Battery levels (green flashing) once before—and nightly—during your voyage. Also, make sure you have installed the latest version of the software for optimal usage.

Battery Status

While on board, you can check your DisneyBand+ battery status via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you have paired the band to your mobile device. In addition, pressing the button on the back of the band will cause it to light up in specific colors to indicate the current battery status.

  • Flashing Red indicates “No Battery.” You should charge your band as soon as possible with the included charging cable.
  • Flashing Yellow indicates “Low Battery.” Continue charging your band until the light turns green for the most optimal usage throughout your day.
  • Flashing Green indicates “High Battery.” You are good to go!

Note: If your DisneyBand+ battery is depleted, you will still have access to certain features such as:

  • Stateroom entry
  • Charging purchases to the payment card in your stateroom folio
  • Linking photos to your shipboard account (photos must be separately purchased)

Some DisneyBand+ functionality and features—such as software updates and customization settings—may be affected if the battery is not adequately charged.
