Your magical vacation at sea is right around the corner. As you approach embarkation day, it’s time to take care of a few last-minute details and consider onboard enhancements such as a photo package and onboard gifts and credits.
- Review your Guest Travel Booklet before you board. Learn what’s required to board, including citizenship documents. Plus, get info on transportation, recommended items to pack for your cruise and more. Access your booklet here.
- Pack your essentials. Visit our Packing List page to discover what to pack for a Disney cruise, including basic items to carry on, dining attire and important accessories.
Pro Tip: Your stateroom will be ready for you by approximately 1:30 PM on embarkation day. Be sure to pack any medications or necessary items such as travel documents in a carry-on bag. And if you’re sailing from a warmer destination, you’ll want to include your swimsuit to enjoy time on the pool deck before casting off.
- Review our list of Prohibited and Restricted Items. To avoid delays for you and your family during the embarkation process, please closely review our list of Prohibited and Restricted Items—and remove any of those items from your checked and carry-on bags before arriving to the terminal. Some of those items include:
- Surge protectors
- Irons and steamers
- Drones
- Weapons
- Firearms and ammunition
- Illegal narcotics
- Marijuana (even if legal where you reside or medically prescribed)
- Drug paraphernalia
- Additional prohibited items on the Disney Adventure may apply
- Have Your Port Arrival form with QR code handy. If you haven’t done so already, print or electronically save the Port Arrival Form you received during Online Check-In. The form contains a Quick Response (QR) code for ease of checking in at the port terminal.
Pro Tip: Be sure to print a copy or save electronically at least one day prior to your sailing date to be able to easily access your form at the embarkation terminal.
- Review the Port Addresses & Parking page. This valuable resource provides important information about the location of your departure port, parking options and other specific instructions you’ll need to know before setting sail.
- Order door decorations and onboard gifts delivered to your stateroom in advance. Make your upcoming cruise even more magical with delightful gifts and amenities delivered directly to your stateroom. Choose from a variety of options like door decorations, beverages, personalized cakes, flowers, and even onboard credits. Remember to place your order at least 7 days before your sail date for cakes and 3 days for other gifts.
Pro Tip: Family and friends you share your reservation information with can bid a festive “bon voyage” with an onboard gift delivered to your stateroom, or they can gift onboard credits that can be used to add magic your way throughout your sailing.
- Stay Connected with cellular phone service. If staying connected while at sea is important to you, we offer a Cellular at Sea phone service, available in your stateroom and aboard the ship. Please contact your cellular provider in advance to learn about your specific rates.
- Haven’t had a chance to book your cruise activities? There’s still time to book Port Adventures, Spa & Salon services and treatments, “it’s a small world” nursery!, adult-exclusive dining and more. Please note booking activities is subject to availability. (Note: Port Adventures availability varies.)
Pro Tip: Don’t see availability for your favorite activities or experiences? Don’t worry, be sure to continue checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for any changes in availability that may occur during your sailing. Also, feel free to stop by locations like Palo, Palo Steakhouse, Palo Trattoria, Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, Remy, or the Port Adventures Desk on your first day aboard; last-minute cancellations may open new availability for you.
- Friendly reminder: This is your last chance to arrange Ground Transportation for pre- and post-cruise if you haven’t done so already. As a convenience, Disney Cruise Line offers air and rental car programs and can arrange ground transportation for you at most departure ports. Purchasing ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line can help ensure you will arrive on time for your cruise and streamline pre- and post-sailing travel.
