DisneyBand+ & More – Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
What do I do if my DisneyBand+ isn't working?
A:
Here are some possible issues and what you can do to troubleshoot them:
Check Battery Level: If your DisneyBand+ is paired, you can check your battery level by selecting the “More” menu in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and tapping the DisneyBand+ tile. Please note: You will be unable to pair and check your battery levels until you are on board.
Update the Software: Once you are on board, make sure the software you’re using with DisneyBand+ is up to date. You can check this on the Bands & More page in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app (if you have paired the DisneyBand+ to the device using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app). You must be on board, and a Bluetooth connection—along with at least 60% battery life—is required to check and complete a software update.
Update the Mobile App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Power On and Off: To power your band off, press and hold the button on the back of the band for about 6 seconds, until it buzzes twice. If powering off is successful, the LED light will turn red and rotate once in reverse. Press and hold the button for one second to power it back on. If successful, you will see a solid green light.
If these methods don’t work, try the following:
Restart Your Band: Press and hold the button on the back of the band for 6 seconds to power the device off, then quickly press it again to turn it back on. You will see the red LEDs rotate in reverse once if this is successful.
If your DisneyBand+ still isn’t working, try the following:
Factory Reset: Reset your band by pressing and holding down the button on the back for 15 seconds. You will feel a single haptic buzz, then a double haptic buzz followed by a final haptic buzz with green flashing. This indicates the reset is complete.
