What type of electrical outlet is available in my stateroom and what is the voltage limit?

A:

Except for the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line ships are equipped with 110V outlets compatible with US and Canadian plugs, as well as 220V outlets compatible with European plugs. Outlets accommodate:

  • US (type A) plugs
  • Canadian (type B) plugs
  • European (type F or “Schuko”) plugs

The voltage limits are:

  • 110V (US and Canadian appliances) – maximum 1500 watts
  • 220V (European appliances) – maximum 2000 watts
Disney Adventure Electrical Requirements

On the Disney Adventure, the electrical requirements differ. Disney Adventure staterooms are equipped with 230V outlets:

  • European (type F or “Schuko”) plugs
  • UK (type G) plugs
  • Chinese (type I) plugs
  • USB-A and USB-C ports

The ship’s voltage limit is:

  • 230V appliances – maximum 2000 watts
On All Disney Cruise Line Ships

All staterooms are equipped with multiple electrical outlets. Small personal electrical appliances, such as electric shavers, curling irons and flat irons, may be used on board, provided they meet the ship’s electrical requirements.

For convenience, a hair dryer is provided in every stateroom. Guests may bring their own hair dryer if it complies with the voltage and wattage limits applicable to the ship.
