DisneyBand+ uses Radio Frequency (RF) technology and can be read by short and long-range readers located on board the Disney ship and on shore at Disney Castaway Cay. If you prefer to use a Key to the World Card—which cannot be detected by long-range readers—you will continue to receive one on embarkation day.
Please note: To purchase alcoholic beverages on board the ship or on Disney Castaway Cay, Guests must meet the minimum age requirement and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
