On this tour, you will:
  • Meet your guide on the pier and be transported to Bobby's Marina on a 5-minute minivan ride.
  • Upon arrival at the dive shop, meet your guide, receive a 15-minute safety briefing with an overview of Snuba and get fitted with your Snuba gear (included in the excursion). Snuba is the experience of underwater breathing without having to wear heavy scuba gear.
  • You are now ready for your underwater exploration. You will have approximately 25 minutes for your Snuba adventure, where you may come face-to-face with all types of marine life. Lobster, occasional Stingray, Angelfish, Parrotfish, Damselfish, Anemones, Tubeworms and coral will all be sought out on this adventure.
  • After the completion of your Snuba, you will have approximately 30 minutes to snorkel in search of other marine life.
  • At the end of your underwater experience, sit back, relax and enjoy a beverage (Rum Punch or Kool Aid) on your return trip to the pier.
Important Additional Information
  • Guests must be ambulatory. Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.
  • Guests must be in good physical condition.
  • For safety reasons, Guests weight must not exceed 250 pounds.
  • Expectant mothers may not participate on this tour
  • All equipment for Snuba and Snorkeling (mask, snorkel, fins and snorkel vest) are included in this tour.
  • No experience is necessary to participate but a medical questionnaire and release is required. Also, Guests need to feel comfortable swimming in open water.
  • For safety reasons, Guests who can answer YES to any of the following statements are not permitted to participate without consulting a physician and completing supplemental forms: currently have an ear infection; have a history of ear disease, hearing loss or problems with balance; have a history of ear or sinus surgery; are currently suffering from a cold, congestion, sinusitis or bronchitis; have a history of respiratory problems, severe attacks of hay fever or allergies, or lung disease; have had a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) or history of chest surgery; have active asthma or history of emphysema or tuberculosis; are currently taking medication that carries a warning about impairment of physical or mental abilities; have behavioral health, mental or psychological problems or a nervous system disorder; are or could be pregnant; have a history of colostomy; have a history of heart disease or heart attack, heart surgery, or blood vessel surgery; have a history of high blood pressure, angina, or take medication to control blood pressure; are over 45 AND have a family history of heart attack or stroke; have a history of bleeding or other blood disorders; have a history of diabetes; have a history of seizures, blackouts, or fainting, convulsions or epilepsy or take medications to prevent them; have a history of back, arm or leg problems following an injury, fracture or surgery; have a history of fear of closed or open spaces or panic attacks (claustrophobia or agoraphobia).
  • All alcoholic drinks will be served only to Guests age 21 and older, and after all water-related activities are finished.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a change of clothes, a towel and wear swimwear under their clothing.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring currency to purchase optional extras such as souvenirs.
  • Due to extreme limited availability of this excursion, Guests are encouraged to book early.
  • You should never feel that gratuities are expected, but it is customary to leave a tip in recognition of exceptional service in restaurants and taxis and for excursion guides and drivers. It is always up to you to determine the amount.
