- Take an approximate 25-minute van ride to the departure point on Douglas Island, where your guide will tell you about Juneau's history and its surroundings.
- Gear up on disc-braked bikes for a scenic 9.5-mile bicycle tour over a paved road from sub-alpine heights to sea level. From the local ski area, cruise along a 5.2-mile downhill route with stops to learn about the unique flora and fauna of the rain forest. Enjoy spectacular vistas of the surrounding mountains, valleys and glaciers along the way.
- Continue along a 4.3-mile, fairly flat scenic road to breathtaking views across Fritz Cove on a clear day you can see Mendenhall Glacier.
- Resume your ride along the rugged coastline to False Outer Point and enjoy a light snack and beverage, included in your tour.
- Take a van transfer back to downtown Juneau. Continue your adventure at the Mount Roberts Tramway, as you rise 1,800 feet to the Mountain House Sky Bridge. After a brief introduction by your guide to the many available activities, you are free to set out on your own to explore the hiking trails, restaurants, movie theater, Bald Eagle exhibit, Nature Center, viewing platforms and gift shop. After completing your mountain adventure you can return to the pier at your leisure.
- Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.
- Guests must be comfortable riding a bicycle downhill and using handbrakes.
- This tour is not recommended for expectant mothers after their third month of gestation.
- Guests should dress warmly, in layers, and carry rain gear. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- Helmets, rain gear and gloves are provided. Guests can leave personal belongings in the support van.
- Bottled water, hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider and a granola bar are included in your tour.
- Guests are encouraged to bring currency and credit cards to purchase extras, such as souvenirs or snacks.
- Due to the extremely limited availability of this shore excursion, Guests are encouraged to book early.
- You should never feel that gratuities are expected, but it is customary to leave a tip in recognition of exceptional service in restaurants, taxis and for excursion guides and drivers. It is always up to you to determine the amount.
