10-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise
Location: Mexican RivieraA Disney Cruise Line 10-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise transports you and your family on a voyage along the scenic Mexican Riviera coast, where you'll visit 4 sunny ports of call, including Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo and Cabo San Lucas.
Embark on your voyage aboard the regal Disney Wonder in Los Angeles, California. From here, as you journey south for 2 days down the Baja California peninsula, you can soak up the sun by one of the 3 pools, treat yourself to a mani-pedi at the Vista Spa & Salon or engage in a myriad activities designed for kids, teens and adults, including photos at Character Greetings or one of Disney's fabulous live shows in the grand Walt Disney Theatre, such as Disney Dreams-An Enchanted Classic.
On the 3rd day, you arrive in Mazatlán, a city of old and new. With its historic El Centro and upscale Zone Dorada center of tourism, there's no lack of things to see and do. Get a panoramic view of the city and take a photo for posterity from the El Faro lighthouse atop Cerro Creston.
The next day, the Disney Wonder drops anchor in Puerto Vallarta, a charming city with cobblestone streets and some history with old Hollywood. Get a look at Elizabeth Taylor's former home, Casa Kimberly, bought by Richard Burton, or pick up some souvenirs from the local artisans along the Marina Vallarta Malecón.
The following day, you're back at sea. Bring the family to a Disney Digital 3-D movie in the state-of-the-art Buena Vista Theatre or drop all the kids off at the age-specific youth clubs and treat your better half to a date at Palo for a true culinary experience.
The next day, reach the 3rd port of call, Manzanillo, where anglers in search of championship sport-fishing have put the city on the map. It's also known for a naturally occurring phenomenon called green flash, which often takes place at sunset. Train your eyes on the horizon at dust and you just might see a light show.
Back at sea for a day again, check in with the outside world at the Internet Café or visit Studio Sea, the family entertainment center, to watch a sporting event on the big screen TV or take part in fun-filled activities.
The next day, arrive at Cabo San Lucas, the final Mexican port of call on the itinerary, where you'll find 20 different beaches with pristine waters and breathtaking views. Get some rays at Playa El Médano (Dune Beach) with 7 miles of glistening sand, surf and all sorts of water-sport rentals.
On your final day at sea, it's your last chance to cram in as much of the "magic" as you can, or laze away the day in a lounge chair. If you're really feeling ambitious, steal away to the Fitness Center to fit in a workout and a rainforest-themed steam.
Your journey comes to a finale the next morning, as you arrive back where it all started—the "City of Angels"—Los Angeles, California, enriched with a lifetime of memories the whole family will treasure.
