- Drive approximately 30 minutes to the Mediterraneo Marine Park.
- Upon arrival, meet the facility's dolphin trainers and enjoy an interactive introduction to these gentle creatures of the deep, including a discussion of their anatomy, physiology and natural history.
- Learn how dolphins respond to hand signals and positive reinforcement and discover their fantastic ability to communicate under water. Then, delight in an unforgettable hands-on interaction as you are invited to glide your hand over the dolphin's soft skin, share a flipper shake and receive a friendly kiss with your newfound friend. Note: The first portion of the program takes place in shallow water approximately 3 feet deep. The second portion is in deeper water. Lifejackets are mandatory.
- Complete your unforgettable encounter with some free play and swim time with your new dolphin friend!
- Have time to view the photos taken of you during your swim.
- Have 30 minutes of free time at the Park and depending on the show schedule, watch either the parrot show, sea lion show or dolphin educational presentation.
- Drive approximately 30 minutes back to the ship.
Important Additional Information
- Guests 8-12 years must have an adult 18 years or older accompanying them booked on the Dolphin Swim excursion. Guests 13 and older must have an adult 18 years or older accompanying them booked on the Dolphin Swim or Dolphin Observer excursion.
- Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.
- Guests are encouraged to bring credit cards or currency to purchase optional extras such as souvenirs.
- Due to the extremely limited availability of this excursion, Guests are encouraged to book early.
- You should never feel that gratuities are expected from you. However, it is customary to leave a few extra Euros in recognition of service at restaurants, for taxis, and for exceptional excursion guides and drivers. It is always up to you as to what you feel is appropriate.
