My Disney cruise includes a stop at Disney Castaway Cay. What should I expect?

Disney Castaway Cay is our very own private island paradise in The Bahamas, exclusive to Disney Cruise Line Guests.
To make the most of your island day, make sure Guests in your party who are 18 or older bring their passport or government-issued photo ID—you'll need these to go ashore and reboard the ship.
What's Included
Your cruise fare covers almost everything you need for a full beach day, including:
- Beaches & Seating: Access to Castaway Family Beach, Teen Beach (accessed from the Teen Hideout) and the adults-only Serenity Bay, plus complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels
- Food & Drinks: Open-air BBQ buffets at Cookie's BBQ and Serenity Bay BBQ serving grilled favorites, plus complimentary soft-serve ice cream and drink stations throughout the island
- Water Play: Pelican Plunge water-play platform with 2 waterslides for Guests of all ages
- Kids & Teens: Supervised activities for younger kids at Scuttles Cove and a dedicated youth club for teens at the Teen Hideout
- Entertainment & Activities: Character meet-and-greets, beach games at Sports Beach and the self-paced Castaway Cay 5K with a finisher medal
You'll also find life jackets, wagon rentals and sundry shops carrying sunscreen, hats and more.

Getting Around the Island
At Disney Castaway Cay, the ship docks directly at the island, so you simply walk off and you’re there. Frequent tram service is available to help you get around. Trams can accommodate personal and electric wheelchairs but not sand wheelchairs. Accessible restrooms are available on the island.
