Booking & Reservations – Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

How do I book a Disney cruise on the ship and redeem a Placeholder Reservation for a future cruise?

A:

Absolutely! You can make a Placeholder Reservation for a future Disney cruise with our Onboard Offer—and save 10% on the voyage fare in the process!

Simply open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while you're on board the ship and tap “10% Off a Future Cruise” to make a Placeholder Reservation. You will have 24 months to select a specific cruise date and complete your sailing within that timeframe.

How to Apply Placeholder Reservation to a Booked Cruise

Ready to apply your Disney cruise Placeholder to a booked cruise? Follow these steps:
  • Log in to “My Reservations” and locate your Placeholder Reservation under the "Already Booked" drop-down menu. If you have multiple reservations, select the "Reservations" drop-down to see your list.
  • Select "Future Cruise Placeholder," listed with its expiration date.
  • Then select "Search All Cruises," confirm your travel party and view eligible itineraries. You should see "Special Rates for Placeholder" at the top of the page and the "Placeholder Offer" icon on the itineraries.

Keep in mind that Placeholder Reservations can only be made while you're sailing on a Disney ship. For assistance, contact Disney Cruise Line.
