Mickey's Pool, one of 3 freshwater pools on the Disney Wonder, is a Mickey Mouse-shaped children's pool located at Deck 9, Aft that is open from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Because operating times do vary, check the Personal Navigator—the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—once onboard the ship for the most accurate times.

Make a splash in this pool designed just for children that features Mickey Mouse's famous smiling face. Featuring a maximum depth of 2 feet, Mickey's Pool lets children cool off and make new friends while onboard the ship.

Mickey's Pool area includes cozy deck chairs, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Poolside Dining

For those looking for a quick bite, the Mickey's Pool area includes Goofy's Galley and Pluto's Dog House, 2 Quick Service restaurants which serve a variety of snacks, sandwiches and beverages during lunchtime and late-night hours. Food and beverages are not allowed in the pools or whirlpool spas.

Games and Activities

Games and activities are hosted by Cast Members in the Mickey's Pool area at various times daily. Check the Personal Navigator once onboard for the most accurate activities schedule.

Mickey's Pool Slide

Mickey's Pool boasts a twisting, one-deck-high yellow slide suspended by a gigantic Mickey Mouse hand, ideal for kids looking for a little excitement when cooling down.

The attraction is intended for Guests ages 4 - 14 years.

To use the slide, children must be between the ages of 4 and 14, with a minimum height of 38 inches and a maximum height of 64 inches.

Policies About Pool Toys and Swim Accessories
Please be aware of the following policies about pool toys and swim accessories:

  • Swim goggles that fit only over the eyes are permitted at all pools, hot tubs and water slides, with the exception of AquaDunk aboard the Disney Magic, where goggles are not allowed.
  • Swim masks that cover the eyes and nose are permitted at all pools. They are not allowed on any slides, including AquaDuck.
  • Snorkel tubes are not permitted at any pools, hot tubs or water slides.
  • Coast Guard personal flotation devices (PFDs), water wings and flotation sewn into bathing suits can be brought onboard and are permitted in Mickey's Pool.
  • Floats, rafts and fun noodles cannot be brought onboard and are not permitted in the pools.

Policies About Swim Diapers
The United States Public Health Service requires that only children who are toilet trained are permitted to enter swimming pools and spas aboard cruise ships.

Children who are not toilet trained are welcome to enjoy Nemo's Reef and Mickey's Splash Zone, where they must wear swim diapers. Please note, swim diapers are not permitted in the pools, hot tubs or spas, the AquaDuck and the AquaLab.

Complimentary Pool Vests
As a courtesy, complimentary pool vests are now available on the pool decks aboard all ships. These vests can only be worn by children in the swimming pools to help with flotation, and must not be taken ashore at ports of call, including Castaway Cay. Please note that pool vests are not a substitute for the lifejackets located in Guest staterooms, nor are they a substitution for adult supervision.

Fun Facts & Tips

Mickey's Pool is open during all cruises—even to Alaska!

Mickey's Pool is heated if the temperature falls below 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mickey's Pool has a constant depth of 2 feet.
