Edge on the Disney Magic is a children's activity center for kids 11 to 14 years of age located on Deck 2, Midship. Open from approximately 9:00 a.m. to midnight daily, this interactive play space—a scaled replica of the ship's bridge—lets children steer a virtual ship, play videogames, watch television and participate in arts and crafts. Kids can also sing karaoke, go on scavenger hunts and take part in special themed nights.

Operating hours vary occasionally, so check your Personal Navigator—the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—while onboard for specific times.

For junior captains, Edge is the perfect place to get a hands-on feel for navigating a ship like the Disney Magic. Edge boasts a lifelike simulator with interactive buttons that lets kids—from the comfort of 2 captain's chairs—navigate a virtual ship in and out of various ports of call. An 8-paneled screen that displays the vessel's movement from all angles lets kids see just how well they're doing.

To make the experience even more realistic, LCD "windows" enable kids to scan the bridge, thanks to a live video feed from the actual bridge.

For cruisers not looking to navigate a ship, Edge includes:

• A computer lab with child-friendly computers
• Videogame consoles with the latest games
• Plush couches
• Tables for arts and crafts
• Flat-screen televisions

Edge hosts activities for cruisers ages 11 to 14 years of age. Check the Personal Navigator for specific dates and times of activities while onboard.

Although subject to change, activities at Edge may include:

• Pizza Perfection
  Answer trivia questions to win pizza toppings and create the perfect pizza. After the game is over, the pizzas are cooked and shared by all.
• Road Tour
  Embark on a jammin' scavenger hunt throughout the ship as you work to gather stamps to fill your rock 'n' roll passport by solving music-themed brain teasers and puzzles.
• A Pirate's Life for Me
  Arrr you pirate enough? Compete in physical challenges and answer trivia questions about ye olde time scalawags and buccaneers in this game to see who will claim the infamous pearl.
