Donald's Pool, one of 3 freshwater pools on the Disney Dream, is designed for families and located on Deck 11, Midship. Guests can enjoy a dip in the pool's refreshing water or relax poolside where they can soak up some sun.
Waddle over to Donald's Pool, adorned by a colorful rendering of a smiling Donald Duck on its floor. The pool measures a maximum depth of 5 feet and caters to both parents and kids, allowing the entire family to cool off and make new friends while onboard. The pool area also includes an array of deck chairs, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
At various times each day, Crew Members host games and activities in the Donald's Pool area. Once you're onboard, please check the Personal Navigator for the most precise activities schedule.Dining
Hungry after your swim? Next to Donald's Pool sits Flo's Café, a Quick Service eatery that's themed after the Disney animated feature film, Cars. It's actually comprised of several food stations, each with its own name: Tow-Mater's Grill, Luigi's Pizza and Fillmore's Favorites. In addition, there is an ice cream station called Eye Scream Treats, themed after Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc., and a smoothie bar called Frozone Treats, themed after the character Frozone from the Disney animated film, The Incredibles. Please note that food and beverages are not allowed in the pools or whirlpool spas.
Operating times are likely to vary, so once you're onboard check the Personal Navigator—the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—for the most accurate times.
Funnel Vision - Jumbo Screen Television
Above the Donald Pool—atop the Forward Funnel on Deck 11—is a state-of-the-art, 24-by-14-foot LED screen called Funnel Vision. Families are invited to sit back, relax and watch classic Disney animated features or live-action movies.
Other programs, including popular TV shows and major sporting and broadcast events, are screened throughout the day. Check the Personal Navigator once onboard for the most accurate schedule and show times.
Donald's Pool Area Stage and Dance Floor
The Donald's Pool area features a stage where many daytime deck activities and nighttime deck parties take place, including the Adventures Away! Sail-Away Celebration gala and the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party. During these events, an automated floor slides out and seamlessly covers both Donald's Pool and Mickey's Pool, allowing Guests more deck space to enjoy the festivities— or as Donald would say, "enough space for Guests to spread their wings."
Coast Guard personal flotation devices (PFDs), water wings and flotation sewn into bathing suits can be brought onboard and are permitted in Donald's Pool. However, floats, rafts and fun noodles cannot be brought onboard and are not permitted in the pools.
