What to Pack for a Disney Cruise
You'll want to dress comfortably aboard your Disney cruise (it is a vacation, after all) and also bring appropriate attire for onboard activities including dinner, Port Adventures and on-shore excursions you may take on your own. Here are items you may want to include in your luggage.
The Basics
Pack these items in a day bag to keep handy when checking in or embarking (your luggage may not arrive at your stateroom until a few hours after boarding):
CARIBBEAN AND BAHAMIAN CRUISES
Attire and Accessories
In winter, you may also want to bring:
Dinner attire is "cruise casual," meaning no shorts, swimwear or tank tops. Palo diners will want to dress up a bit more than when dining at Lumiere's or Triton's, though Guests are free to dress up for any dinner. A Personal Navigator—Disney Cruise Line's daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—will arrive at your stateroom daily with dressing advice for that night's dinner.
ALASKAN CRUISES
The average summer temperatures in Alaska can range from a high of 62 degrees fahrenheit to an average low of 45 degrees fahrenheit. Layering is recommended, so pack accordingly! The pools aboard the cruise ship will be open and are heated if the temperature falls below 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
