U.S. Travel Information for Caribbean and Bahamian Cruises
Guests who travel on a Disney Cruise Line itinerary to the Caribbean or the Bahamas need to fly into Orlando International Airport, and then take the Disney motor coach to the Disney Magic or the Disney Dream in Port Canaveral, Florida. Driving directions are also provided for Guests who live locally or those who want to drive to Port Canaveral.
Air and Ground Transportation: Getting to Disney Cruise Line
The following guidelines apply to Guests enjoying Caribbean and Bahamian cruises. After you've received your flight details, be sure to contact the airline by phone or via the airline's website to arrange your seat assignments and ensure the best seating for you and your family. You can also arrange special meal requests, receive frequent flyer information and make other airline related arrangements.

Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to designate any air carrier and schedule from each originating city offered. However, you can request specific airlines, flights, times, or other specific aspects of your air itinerary through our Special Air Request Department for an additional fee. To change the details of your flight, you are invited to complete and submit the Flight Modification Form available to you in

As of June 2, 2009, changes such as gateway changes/cancellations, flight date changes and name changes/corrections are considered cancellations and applicable air cancellation fees will apply. Air taxes and fees are refundable. See the Airline Cancellation Fees table below for additional details.
Domestic air cancellation fees apply for sailings where both the embark and debark port are in North America. International air cancellation fees apply for all other sailing itineraries that include a cruise with embark or debark ports outside of North America.

Guests Arranging Independent Air Travel
Ground Transfers are available for purchase to Guests who make independent air arrangements. To add transfers to your cruise package, call (800) 951-3532 at least 75 days prior to vacation commencement date. Please be prepared to provide your inbound and outbound flight details.

Prior to the start of your vacation, you will receive a Documentation Packet that includes special luggage tags
. Attach the tags to your luggage and bring the included vouchers with you to the airport.

At your hometown airport, check your luggage as you normally would at the start of a trip.

Upon landing at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed directly to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center located on Side B, Level 1 - Ground Transportation level. Disney will collect your luggage and deliver it to your stateroom. (International Guests arriving in Orlando must first claim their luggage and clear Customs and Immigration. Once cleared, luggage will then be returned to the main baggage claim where Disney Cruise Line will collect and deliver it to the Guest's stateroom.)

From the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center, you're off to your Disney Cruise Line ship! Board a deluxe, air-conditioned motor coach, sit back and relax as we chauffer you to the Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral.

After your cruise has ended, return back to Orlando International Airport in a deluxe air-conditioned motor coach.
Onboard Airline Check-In
Enjoy the comfort and convenience of Onboard Airline Check-In when you purchase air or ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line.
When you register for Onboard Airline Check-In, you are entitled to:

Receive your boarding passes and check your luggage for your return flight before you disembark the ship.

Skip luggage claim at the port terminal.

Bypass the airline check-in counter at the airport.
Here's how it works:

Reserve air or ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line and sign up for Onboard Airline Check-In when you check in for your cruise at the port.

On the day prior to disembarkation, your airline boarding passes and valet luggage tags will magically be delivered to your stateroom, along with a letter answering common questions you may have.

Attach the tags to your luggage and leave your bags outside your stateroom on the evening prior to disembarkation. Disney Cruise Line will collect and deliver your luggage to your airline.

When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, proceed to security with your boarding passes already in hand and continue on to your scheduled departure gate.
Available to Guests flying out of Orlando International Airport on domestic flights (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) on AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, United Airlines and US Airways.
Pre-registration is required and scheduled flights must be after 11:25 a.m. On the day your cruise ends. Guests are limited to 2 bags per person and each piece must not exceed 50 lbs. Additionally, some Guests may be selected to check in at the airport and will be unable to use this service.
We recommend that you allow a minimum of 4 hours at the beginning and end of your cruise for travel time, customs/immigrations clearances and security checks at Port Canaveral and the airport. Additionally, on the day of your sailing, all Guests must board the ship no later than 3:45 p.m. Please plan your arrival accordingly to avoid the possibility of not being permitted to sail with us.
