French Riviera Beach Rendezvous

Leave your footprints in the powder-white sand shores of Orient Bay, known to all as the "French Riviera of the Caribbean." Lounge the lazy afternoon away in a comfy beach chair with a refreshing drink in hand — and feel your worries wash away as you gaze out onto the waves of the shimmering turquoise sea.

• Please be aware that St. Maarten's beaches are similar to those found in European countries, where swimwear and other attire are optional. Nudity or topless bathing may be observed.
• A welcome drink and a drink with lunch (chicken, baby back ribs or fish of the day) are included in this excursion.
• Cash bars are available for Guests wishing to purchase additional beverages. VIP cards will be handed out for Guests wishing to receive a 1 Euro = 1 USD exchange rate.
• Travel time to/from the beach is approximately 20-30 minutes each way, in air-conditioned motor coaches.
• Time at the beach is approximately 3.5-4 hours.
• Double umbrellas and water sport equipment rentals are available at an additional cost. For Guests intending to partake in water sports, a credit card run off is usually taken as insurance against damage.
• A stroller or collapsible wheelchair can be stowed in the luggage area of the bus. Please note, however, that Guests must be able to negotiate 2-3 steps to board and disembark the bus. There are wooden walkways throughout the location; however, there are no sand strollers or wheelchairs available or walkways on the beach—just loose sand.
• The official currency on the French side of the island is the Euro; however, U.S. dollars are accepted. Guests should ensure they verify the price of souvenirs in U.S. dollars before purchasing.
• At the end of this excursion, Guests will have the option to be dropped off downtown for shopping (where travel expenses back to the ship are the Guests' responsibility) or return directly to the pier.
