LAX International Airport to the San Pedro Pier is 18 miles or approximately 35-50 minutes by car. Downtown Los Angeles to the San Pedro Pier is 25 miles or approximately 40-60 minutes by car.


Driving Directions

From LAX:

  1. Travel southbound on the San Diego Freeway/Interstate 405.
  2. Travel southbound on the Harbor Freeway/Interstate 110.
  3. Exit Harbor Boulevard and proceed though the intersection.
  4. Turn right and enter the Port of Los Angeles.

From Long Beach:

  1. Head westbound on Ocean Boulevard, Seaside Avenue and the Vincent Thomas Bridge/State Highway 47.
  2. Exit Harbor Boulevard and proceed through the intersection.
  3. Turn right and enter the Port of Los Angeles.

From Downtown Los Angeles:

  1. Travel southbound on the Harbor Freeway/Interstate 110.
  2. Exit Harbor Boulevard and proceed through the intersection.
  3. Turn right and enter the Port of Los Angeles.

From Disneyland:

  1. Travel northbound on the Santa Ana Freeway/Interstate 5 towards Los Angeles.
  2. Travel westbound on CA-91 West.
  3. Travel southbound on the Harbor Freeway/Interstate 110 towards San Pedro.
  4. Exit Harbor Boulevard and proceed through the intersection.
  5. Turn right and enter the Port of Los Angeles.

By Taxi
Fares, depending upon time in traffic, may range from $35 to $75.

Parking

  • Parking operated by Parking Concepts Inc. (800) 540-PARK
  • $12 (maximum) per day
  • Cash, credit cards and traveler's checks are accepted
  • Courtesy shuttle from passenger terminal to parking lot

Drop-off / Pick-up
Guests being dropped off or picked up from the Port of Los Angeles should pass through the Main Gate security booth and follow signs to the designated cruise berth. No parking or waiting is permitted in the loading/unloading zones.


Luggage Handling & Transfers
Disney Cruise Line representatives will be at the terminal to meet and greet and check-in Guests from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Luggage handlers will be on hand to assist with luggage. All of your luggage must be stored in your stateroom; there is no luggage storage area available at the World Cruise Center terminal.

All Guests must be onboard the ship by 4:00 p.m.


Youth Activities
You can register your kids for onboard youth activities at the terminal between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Families who have pre-registered online should go to the Youth Activities Check-In Area at the terminal to pick up name tags, pager and wristbands (if applicable).


ATMs & Currency Exchange
There are no ATMs in the cruise terminal. You can cash personal checks and exchange currency at the Guest Services desk onboard the ship with a valid photo I.D. The ports of call also have ATMs.


Wheelchair Accessibility
The terminal building and parking areas at the Port of Los Angeles are wheelchair accessible. If you require temporary use of a wheelchair at the pier upon embarkation or debarkation, please request one upon arrival at the cruise terminal.
